Am thinking of spending new years eve in a big european city - rome/ prague/ amsterdam etc. Is it best to book now (i know it's a long way off!) or wait for a last minute deal? Who's it best to book through now, lastminute.com???

Do it yourself (booking) though you can hold out for a good deal and book it in the last minute though i would book in advance as many people want to be away for new years..0

I agree book something now as New Years is very popular for going away and if you leave it till late the prices are likely to be sky high and you'll have a limited choice unless your very lucky. You never know how far you can fly, till you spread your wings.0
