Should I have received some form of document saying I'm bankrupt before I left court? I've got the receipt and the clerk told me to quote a number and date if anyone rang.

It's just I've had the IVA company on the phone and they said I should have received a document. Will the court send me something?0

It's your Bankruptcy Order that will be sent as confused has said. So don't worry x"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

Hi been, con and if
Thanks for replying and once again you have put my mind at ease.
Look at me - worrying that I may NOT now be BR!0 -
Hi Single girl.
Yes, the only thing you require at the moment is the court reference. Procedures differ from court to court...some, like mine, give the certificate of bankruptcy immediately. Others don't but it WILL come through the post in a few days. Worry not.
You should also make your appearance in the insolvency register within a few days if not already but not all creditors can be bothered looking. God knows why not. It costs nothing on the internet and it would save alot of them alot of grief. I think they just like giving themselves a load of unnecessary costly work. The idiots don't seem to realise or care that none of their costs incurred post your BR can be claimed out of any eventual dividend paid by the OR at the end of your 3 years.
Well done and welcome to the rest of your life!0
