Warning - protect elderly relatives from these cowboys

We went to look at a solar installation today that was reported to be faulty. It was badly fitted with the very basic of technology 3 years ago, a few safety faults (blow off not installed is a major one.)and a lip service guarantee.
The homeowner was 82, she paid over £7000!
In my job, I am seeing too many people like her being duped into buying solar - it's a great product but it must be right for you, for these elderly people on their own, it's not.
Please, please, if you hear any of your elderly relatives considering this, be there when the installer/salesman calls. The industry does not need cowboys like these.
