Home Learning College Course

Hi i would like to do one of these courses, at the moment i am a 40 yr old care assistant doing nights with a 7yr old , and was wondering if any other mse's have done one and how did you get on with the studying and did you manage to change your lifestyle. I really dont want to be in care when my daughter gets older its just a job that i fell into because it fits round school. I am interested in doing the webdesign course. Please dont misunderstand me i have a lot of admiration for people who are happy to stay in the care sector but i feel its time to move on but it has to be done gradually.
many thanks

I'm half way through a correspondence course in HND Travel and Tourism and I've found it to be quite easy so far. I used to read in bed but now I read my course notes. I read them at any spare moment I've got and then I write the essays when they are at school. I'm finding it difficult to do anything at the moment because the school holidays are on but as soon as they go back I will be back onto it again.

Hi black- saturn, thanks for your help do you think you will be able to use the course perhaps to change job in the future or is it more because you were interested in the subject? and do you have dealings with a course tutor

There is a course tutor available to speak to 24 hours a day and he is very good. Everything about the course is included in the price including the course materials, paper, envelopes, postage, pens and the exam fees. When my children are older I would love to work as a tour guide on a coach holiday, telling people on a microphone all about the local area and such. But we shall see what happens. I already have a degree in Publicity and Marketing so maybe I could combine the two somehow.
