anyway of getting cheaper car hire

does anyone know?? some online sites ask for prom codes for discounts, or are there just any good cheap firms out there?? been quoted over £300 per week for an automatic!!!!!! cheaper buying a cheap heap....lol

    Yeh i second them... used them before and had no problems plus a good price and ended up with a free upgrade most of the time!

    I'm looking ot hire a car in December in Portugal too - had a look at Carjet's site, you have to watch out for a £500 insurance excess that's charged to your cc till the car is returned (or pay a buy-out of £5-£10 per day).
