Can anyone help me please.
I am bankrupt as of Aug 2009, but i need a solicitor for a family matter, as a bankrupt will i get legal aid, just dont know how i will afford legal costs otherwise.

Hello PP, sorry Your having problems. Have you contacted your local CAB, they may give advice or know of Solicitors near you.

CAB is a good place to start or telephone a solicitor's office. They will be able to tell you whether Legal Aid is available for that type of work and what the rules are for you to get it - based on income.0
