I am looking for a cheap flight for my parents, leaving on 17.09.06 and returning on 01.10.06, from either Manchester or Birmingham.

The cheapest I have come up with so far is £239 with no meals included.

This seems expensive to me......

You will struggle with cheap flights on a Sunday ...Most of the cheaper flights go on a Thursday and this is when most carriers go to Lanzarote.
Get them to see if they can change the dates of the timeshare

You could try these https://www.teletickettravel.com who are very good for BA flights and often discount them

https://www.firstchoice.co.uk have a flight from Manchester for 369 without meals for both +£24 for meals
