I'm presuming this is an Independent school? At the end of the day it really depends if they can afford to keep you on or not. If they can't, then don't think it's any reflection on your work and contributions to the school.
I would suggest opening the meeting by asking if your one year contract could be extended.Saving money right, left and centre0 -
Put what you've written into bullet points on a piece of paper. You can then either refer to the list during the interview or hand it to the head. Putting things in writing is fine if you get nervous at interviews. Good luck.0

Another approach is to seek feeback on how you have done
Are there areas you could improve over the next few months before the contract runs out, that would improve your chanced of continued employment.
Follow up with your exras if they don't seem to have been recognised.0
