2 adults and 1 child or 2 adults and 1 infant ?????

Ok, myself and my partner are wanting to take our son to Menorca next year !

He will be 2 on the 22nd may so if i go after that he will be classed as a child but before an infant , it is loads cheaper to go at the start of the year though , if i took him as a infant he wont get any baggage allowance or a seat.

Do you think i could get away with booking him as a child instead of an infant before his 2nd birthday ?

  • You will not be getting away with anything as such, as you will have to pay the child price for him instead of the infant price. For example when we went on holiday in June our youngest was 18 months but as we were flying longhaul we decided to buy a child seat for her. Therefore she had a seat, meal and baggage allowance but instead of it costing the infant price of £100approx it cost £350approx.
  • But i know i can get a free child place on the holiday.
