Around the world plane tickets

Looking to do 6/7 months travelling with my girlfriend.

Was just wonder what peoples experience with around the world plane tickets was.

Are they value for money, as opposed to trying to book individual flights?

And where are the best places to look?

cheers

Sorry to hear that, however what is stopping you from going on your own?

I'm not ready to clear off on my lonesome.

As pathetic as it sounds, I have grown reliant upon doing things with her as a partnership and thus feel a period of readjustment is required

  • Why not try going somewhere on your own for a fortnight? You will see how easy it is to meet people and will get a taste of whether it is for you. I travelled alone in central america for three weeks to see if i could do it (i usually travel with my boyfriend) My friend tested the water by going to Barcelona alone for a week, she loved it and was soon off RTW all alone.

I suggest you go away, get over your g/f and sow some of your wild oats.

This is the best chance you'll ever get to do this. Think about it - you're free and single - you get to go where you want to go, do what you want to do and you have no one to argue with! :D

Besides, you don't really need to travel on your own - there's lots of group tours and they are full of single travellers. The best part is, you've already got something in common from the get go! You'll meet loads of interesting people and have a ball.

Why not pick up a copy of the TNT for some ideas?? http://www.tntmagazine.com/

Seriously - go travel... it's the best thing you'll ever do! :)

    Cheers people :)

I intend on getting away, be it to the north, london, israel (unlikey as my relatives are all facists by western standards) or the west of ireland.

Just dont really feel upto traveling by my self.

3+ 1/2 years is a long time for someone my age, all the way through uni.

Just need to fing my bearings before i make any big/rash decisions :)
