The Right to Information Act Letter

Hey there

I was speaking to CCCS this afternoon and they advised me to send a letter to one of my creditors who has add charges, but cant tell me how much, when or why.

CCCs said i need to send them a The Right to Information Act Letter which i can find online, but i can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone have any idea where i could find a template?

Thanks for your help!!!

No, it is to do with a loan that was with A&L which was moved to Santander and they have moved it to someone else internal, who are in the process of writing off the debt to a collection agency, but that has been going on for 4 weeks.

The balance on CCCS statement says 800 outstanding and Santander say £1400, but can explain how they come to that figure as they say they have no more information!

I was wanting to try and pay it off as i had saved up money but not 1400!

    thanks
  • It a Subject Access Request which should mean that they supply details of the loan and payments to it?

  • If you look at the bank charges reclaims board there is a SAR letter.

I would include the account number and sort code if any of the loan and send it either recorded delivery or get a proof of postage from the post office.
