Hi there.
I'm sure a lot of people on this board are well travelled and I'd like to pick your brains if possible.
On Friday 25th August (Bank holiday weekend) we are planning a short (4 nights) camping holiday. We've camped many times before but this will be the first time with our new puppy.
That in itself isn't a problem but our friends (with 3 children under 14) want to come with us. I can see this making the location choice a difficult one.
We want to go somewhere dog friendly (and I'd love to take him to the beach if poss) but of course our friends will need to go somewhere with entertainment for their children (don't think 4 year olds do scenic walking!)
However a lot of big parks either don't take dogs or we will end up paying over the odds for facilities we can't take advantage of (bars/clubs/swimming pools etc)
Also we plan to leave on the Friday evening (DP working til 5PM) so it needs to be within 3 hours driving distance to get there and be set up before dark (we are in the Midlands, nr Coventry)
If anyone at all can think of anywhere that sounds good (places you've been/heard of?) then any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks for reading.

It might be too late to find anywhere for the bank holiday, I wouldn't hang about!0

Have a look at https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk. You can search the area you want, and then advance search to see which campsites have clubhouses, pools, take dogs etc.0
