Eyeliner

  • Yeah it's just for the eyes, I checked and they have a lip primer too but no face primer. It's better to purchase a different one for under your foundation anyway, as they are designed to cater to different parts of your skin. Before you buy one I suggest looking at reviews online, they definitely help me.

    Hi Again,

Thanks, I've more question :D. Can I ask... I've quite oily skin, which I've always guessed is why my eye shadow creases and my eye liner does the same as the OP.

So I came across this thread by pure chance and I've no idea what I'm looking for, so of course I'll read some review and such, but... just so I know exactly what I'm looking for, you can buy primer for your eyes and foundation (and even lips!), but some say illuminating and I just want one that keeps my foundation looking like it does when I apply it (eye shadow too)

Any other suggestions other than Urban Decay. I have used the thread tool, unfortunately this is where I've become so confused because now I've been introduced to mineral make up. Any suggestions/advice?

    TIA

I love ELF mineral eyeshadow primer http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/product~prodID~150.htm
Works as well as Urban Decay primer potion for me and only £3.00. I have very oily lids and this does the job for me.

I too am very oily and have the same problem. I swear by the Urban Decay eye Primer. It's fab, it means I can wear eyeshadows all day or night.

For the face, I'm currently using the Avon primer - around £7 - and it's quite good. It smooths you out and helps make up stay put. I've not tried any others though.

I find that if you work in an air conditioned office/place this makes my oiliness worse.

  • Thanks for that,

I had no idea there was such a thing as primer! but I'm def going to look at getting some, I've always hated how my make up looks great in the morning, only to be oily by mid day.
