Being somewhat of a Bohemian, KarateDragon's newish other half is trying to modernise me!
So I am looking for a new mobile phone to replace my Nokia 5110 with a monochrome screen, no bluetooth, no internet no nothing etc... I am amazed at what mobile phones can actually do now.
I have been scouring the web for a decent deal so as not to be seen off and have come across this. It has a "cashback" scheme. I have heard bad things about them:
The handset is HTC Desire on T-Mobile which should be better than my Nokia 5110. I can even surf web on it!!!
The deal is 18 Months long and comprises:
HTC Desire handset - Free of charge
600 minutes cross network calls, 500 texts and unlimited internet use £30 per month.
Then the cashback is 4 months line rental payable in stages across the contract so £120 off.
Has anyone had experience of this company and if these cashback schemes are any good. It effectively makes the contract £420 for the term as opposed to a lot more I have seen
