Transfers between accounts held within the LBG will be immediate regardless of branding

Thats ok then. Transfer the money to a Lloyds account and do the £25K faster payment from there.

Assuming theirs doesn't drop as well. Halifax and Lloyds TSB accounts will all be held on the same system by then, remember.

Except that all transfers out will be limited to 10k unless chaps(which have to be done in branch now, unless from certain accounts)

It (a transfer between Halifax and Lloyds) won't be a transfer out. It will be a transfer within the group as you said previously so I assume no daily limit as it is now?

Yes but I really cannot see Lloyds reducing their limit to £500.
They have steadily increased the transaction limit to £25K.
The increase to £25K being very recent, it was £15K when I last looked, two or three weeks ago.

I would also be very surprised if the Halifax FP limits were dropped to £500. It makes the accounts next to useless compared with their competitors.

£10000 transaction limit inside the group, £10000 daily outside

£500 for all outbound faster payments as of integration date.

So if true it makes Halifax accounts near enough useless compared with their competitors?

Added with the fact that external BACS payments will apparently be limited to £10k per day ... rather than what we currently have, which is £15k per transaction.
