We had our OR interview today...

Well, it went alot smoother than I thought it would... Husband had his at 10am, then she rang me back and I had mine at 11am. She sounded soooo young! I'm only 30 but she sounded so much younger!! :D Anyhow, after a few questions, she only ? 1 item on our SOA which was life insurance which should of actually been removed as we haven't taken it out yet, I explained it was a mistake and that was fine. She never ? anything else on it. I asked if we would have to pay anything each month IPO is it??? And she said we would hear within 2 weeks if we did...

Is this normal???? Do they have to check it all out before we hear then? I thought they tell you over the phone when we have this interview???

    Hi

They will not always set an IPA during your telephone interview, i remember my telephone interview being over 4 hours long and when we got to talk about our income and outgoings it got so late she said, they have upto the end of bk to set up an IPA.

Hello HP, They just have to go over your paperwork and answers. So it's perfectly normal. I'm pleased it went well for you.....everyone sounds and looks so young these days to me.....even the judge!!

    Best wishes

depends on a number of factors, not least the experience of the examiners, newer ones will have their decisions ok'd by the AOR. More experienced ones might tell you at the interview. also if there are joint finances the decision is more complicated and they have a calculator to work it out exactly

    Thanks everyone...

Debtinfo, I was wondering if this was the case. My income is purely benefits whereas my DH works full time. Will this make a difference??
