hi,
i know i shouldn't be attempting this at this time of night as I'm already in a right state but....
trying to fill in the online debtors petition forms and i'm totally stuck on the creditors pages where it's asking for details of my creditors and the date the debt was incurred. I have a bank account (25yrs +) and 3 credit cards that i have had for at least 10yrs (with no problems until my business went belly up in the last 18mths) but I have no idea at all as to exactly what date i opened the accounts - do i have to contact them to find out?
thanks:)

Evening Phil,
How are things with you? I've seen from some of your recent posts that Evan is reminding you both that he's arrivedI used to go babysit my eldest nephew at that age every Sunday, gave my sister the chance to sleep, have a bath in peace, etc. Seems like yesterday and he's nearly 14, I must be getting old

Hi Starbies
Keep calm & do a little at a time...here is an example 6.28 petition form that may be helpful.

Strangly, thats when most here fill in the forms.........go figure:p
I just put the oldest date the form allowed, and added to the further info but that those dates where just to finish the online forms, and i had put them as i did not have a clue, which seemed to be fine.
If you can not remember when the debt was incurred, odds on it wont matter for the reason of that question, that is, ascertaining if you took on more credit when you should have known you where insolvent, if its so long ago you can not remember......you didnt;)Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -
H i Guys
When I filled our petitions (Hubby's and mine) in I just put an approximate date as I knew we had had the cards a long time but wasn't really sure when we got them. But found out the other day when I got our credit report from Credit Expert that on every entry they list the date you took the credit! If only I had known that before I would have printed one off to go with my petition.
I got our reports online and printed them off for our records, can't wait till 6yrs time when they are all new and clean again lol.Donna
