Hi all
It's been a difficult couple of weeks - still no job (and even less money) and the internet has been out of action due to a change of ISP(which has left me without the brill support and guidance of this site:-( )
Just yesterday I got a call out of the blue, from a manager within the company that recently made me 'redundant' asking me to go and work for his section. I'm cautious as the company is pants and my recent experiences with them leave much to be desired but this guy is genuine and the unit he manages is semi-independent so he would be my 'boss' rather than the idiots I worked for previously. He's offered me IDEAL hours and with much better pay, so I'm thinking - "what the heck, go for it.." at least it will bring in some money even if I only stay for a while and still look for something else.
And this morning, my new ISP have finally connected my broadband service, yay - now I can get back on the DFW wagon :j
So this morning I'm a much happier bunny than of late!
Have a great weekend everyone

Thanks everyone :A .
I'm going to take the job - as it's been handed to me on a plate I'd be stupid to refuse - and tbh I think I'll really enjoy it once I settle in. Of course I'm wary of working for the same parent company again but at least I know what they're like
It will be at least a couple of weeks or so before I can start (paperwork etc) and a month after that before I get paid, so things are still going to be tight but just the prospect of getting back into paid employment has cheered me up no end

Well done
I know the next few months may be tight, but you can look forward to the pay check arriving
