Hi everyone
Just thought I'd give you an update as to where we are with OH bankruptcy!
He had a pack from the OR which we went through and the main questionnaire that it said to fill in was missing, so he called them and they said that they had enough info on his forms he submitted to the court and didn't need the questionnaire.
He has appt with the OR for this coming thurs at 2pm which he is terrified about but in a way willl be glad to get it over and done with.
We called the solicitors acting for Natwest with regards to the charging order and they said they were aware of bankruptcy and have closed their file and passed it back to Natwest PHEW!!!!! (I have still sent them a copy of the bankruptcy petition and written to the court and sent recorded delivery to be on the safe side).
Finally OH did open a CO-OP cashminder account but problem was it wasn't up and running in time for us to transfer across DD's as he is currently paying all the household bills. So he had his wages paid into my account and they are covering usual monthly outgoings, food, petrol, bills etc, I'm just worried this is not ok, we are not overspending but are having to take odd £20 here and there just for day to day living and worried that the OR will be unhappy about this.
Anyone know if this is ok?, OH does have excess income and we are aware that he will lose most of that and so obviously we will ensure that we don't spend anymore than we absolutely need to, I just wondered how they deal with this, the account is now in my name solely (was a joint account previously), but I just feel like I'm spending hubbys money and the OR wont' take too kindly to it!
thanks

I'm glad you sorted out the charging order and sent info both to solicitors and court. If you do get anything else don't ignore it just in case the court missed your letter and whatever you do don't trust the solicitors to have backed down (I got 2 CCJs post BR because of that).
As for spending money and OH's wages going in to your account, that is perfectly fine. If he is going to be subject to an IPA that won't start until you receive information about it and where to send it.
