Baby Bath Product not tested on animals

Hi there - I am trying to find a baby bath product to wash my baby with that hasn't been tested on animals. I was thinking of buying a supermarket own brand as its my understanding that most of the major supermarkets don't test their own products on animals. However, a lot of these seem to be "no tears" formulas which to me suggests that they have been tested on animals. I would prefer a no tears formula to bath him with but can't bear the thought of it being tested. Could anyone recommend a suitable product? (PS: Also I don't want to spend a fortune on it).

I recommend plain water. Soap & bubble bath etc are not necessary until they are old enough to start rolling around in puddles etc:rolleyes:
Unfortuantley the water may have been tested on animals but not generally to their detriment!

I always worry about when they say this product has not been tested on animals, I wonder if that means the ingredients in it could have been. Just looked at my Boots 'Basics' talc to see there is 10 different things in it including talc!!! Hope you find something suitable....

Lush used to do a children's shampoo called Assisi which we used on DD. It wasn't tested on animals, very low lather, and lasted for ages and ages. They also do a children's bath ballistic called "ickle baby baff" (I think) which we have also used in the past although is too expensive for daily use - just a one off treat. Try their website - https://www.lush.co.uk

halos and horns that they sell in tescos is not tested and smells like sweets. it is only about 2.50 and apparently doesn't have the chemicals in that can aggravate asthma and exzema. I used the baby bath product on both hair and body and it was great. will have to buy another bottle!!
