I am currently trying to improve my credit, and want to know if I use my debit card for shopping online, will improve my (not great)credit?

I think you are probably right about the credit card, but I can't see how a debit card would affect a credit rating. When you use a debit card the money comes out of your bank account, you haven't borrowed money from a comany that you will repay later.0 -
Using a debit card wont help. If you spend on a credit card either instore or online and then pay it all back each month then that should help. It's not about how or where you spend the money, it's about how well you pay it back.0
