DLA ended yesterday but still got paid?

My last claim ended yesterday but my bank a/c is showing that DLA was credited to my a/c yesterday (at the same rates as I've been getting for the last 3 years). I thought it was paid in advance but was I wrong, is it paid in arrears? I know I got a letter a couple of weeks ago saying they were writing to my GP so I guess it could be a very speedy renewal but... How often does DLA get paid by mistake?

Of course it's Easter w/e so I won't be able to ask until Tuesday :( so should I assume it might have to be re-paid?

When I was first awarded in 2003 it was paid with my Incpacity Benefit [I had low rate of care and mobility]. In 2005 following an appeal, my award was increased to high rate for both and is paid three weeks in arrears and one week in advance.

OK, seems less obvious, I think I have to assume that it's only temporarily in my safekeeping until I can get hold of them and ask the question.
