tax credits query

Hi all

I am currently sepatating from my husband and therefore will be applying for tax credits on my own instead of as a couple. Is it therefore right that I no longer include his income on the forms etc. or do I have to wait until a divorce is thru

Thanking you in advance

Anna

    Has he moved out?

I ended our joint claim and started my single claim the day my husband left the house.

2 and a half years on and we are just starting a divorce so I'm glad I didn't wait until that was sorted....:D
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...
  • No I am moving out in to rented accom at the mo.
