    Oops, sorry :o

What you sorry for? How do you think I know we can't? lol I've already had a look to see :P

It is a pain having to go 5 months between bursary/loan payments. The only thing to do is cut back spending or get a job for the summer.

    Got confused,
thought you were saying my title must be 10 characters long,:o
I was asking for my daughter, told her to get a job,
I told her she couldn't sign on, and we were arguing, just wanted it
    clarified,:D

Unless you are a single parent? If not a job perhaps instead, or is that too old school?

    Hey,
This is kinda irrelevant and relevant, but im just gonna say it. lol. I got a job at asda whilst I was at uni, it was a seasonal contract. Whenever I was back from uni I would work there - you know during the easter, xmas and summer hols. It was a really good thing as I was working nights and earning plenty of beer money for term-time and thus, didn't need a job whilst away at uni. Maybe your daughter/other students on here, could look for something like that.

Getting a summer job is more crucial than ever. Employers are not too impressed with the sackfull of qualifications everyone has now, they want to know that you are reliable in the workplace. I believe a job will help a student massively in the long run.
