Giving up...for now!!

I've been dry now since November so I simply can't justify the effort any more! (Not sure if I did anything to offend the comping fairy!)
I think I'll give it a miss for a while and maybe try again after the summer.

Good luck everybody, I'll still be looking in on the winners from time to time!
xx

Oh no that's a shame I've only been comping for a week or so, so haven't experienced the tension and anxiety on waiting for a win yet, hope I don't have to wait too long though, lol!

Anyway, hope your luck changes soon, fingers crossed!

You know that these dry months aren't going to last, the ONLY sure thing about luck is that it changes.

I'd stick with it at least a little ..like the ITV comps and dailies...just in case :)

    Hope things improve soon.

I always find after a dry patch its best to take a break.. and then what happens is... 2 weeks into the break you get a win just turn up and then you find yourself back on here doing them!...

I tend to agree with you on this one, not the best of months for me as yet, not sure if I am in the positive frame of mind and for some reason positivity and winning go hand in hand for me, but I am plodding on slowly at the moment, as you never know when a decent win is around the corner ;)

Comping can be time consuming and when you don't win that can turn into a drag.

I've felt like that from time to time and had a break but found that when i've come back i've missed out on those comps where practically everyone wins, or at least stands a good chance. Y'know, those 10,000 mascaras or once there was win 1 of 100 washing machines (which I missed  )

If you're coming back to look in on us how about you just scan the comps pages for the multiple wins - that way you're not spending ages entering but you've still got your hand in and a chance of a nice treat coming through.

I have been doing comping regularly since the beginning of 2009 and have only won little bits (you can see from my Signature). I could never take a break from it though, in case I missed out on a biggie. :j

Hopefully the comping fairy will be visiting you soon!
