Help. Free Camping Stuff

Hi all,

I have been looking around this site for awile and noticed how nice and helpfull people are.

I was wondering if someone can help me i am going camping in a couple of weeks and im looking for any freebies that would help as i can only see the hand sanatizer.

someone posted a similar question a couple of weeks ago.

there's the free nikwax samples you can apply for. when i did it, i got some waterproofing stuff they sent me. it's pretty random what you get, it can be for shoes, clothes, or even tents.

there's also the free get walking pack and pedometer here.

the form seems to be working now, but it does say they're dealing with existing requests at the moment, so you might not get it in time for your trip.

Not freebie but just general info: (don't tell me off anybody as .... just being helpful!!!) - noticed last week in our local '99p Shop' they had a new 'camping range'.

Niece was doing something on scheme & needed things and was amazed at what was available price wise compared to other shops. Packs with plate, mug & cutlery and ground sheets etc.

Don't know if available in all outlets, or if is near you (this is well known store with big yellow 99p logo)

Ob. may not last as long as other brands but for one off initial outlay, well worth it.

Deffo try your local Freecycle group - ours often has camping items.
