1. No purchase necessary.
2. By taking part in the prize draw all entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
3. Entries must be made on the official entry form above. All entries must be received by midnight on 7 May 2010.
4. Open to all United Kingdom residents who are members of the RAC. Excludes employees of RAC, Seven Squared and the Promoter.
5. Entrants must be between 25 and 70 years of age.
6. One entry per person.
7. The prize is as follows: The hire for four days and three nights of a Volkswagen California in the UK. The prize includes insurance (subject to excess) to be provided by Royal Sun Alliance on behalf of Campervantastic. No campsite fees or other accommodation is included in the prize. Vehicle must be collected by the winner from Unit 5 118 Stanstead Road, Forest Hill, London, SE23 1BX. Booking is subject to availability. The California vehicle is not available from 27 August to 30 August 2010. The prize does not include any other costs not specifically mentioned above.
8. Entrants must have held a clean UK driving licence for at least 2 years, had no accidents and produce this to the Promoter on request. The California vehicle must not be taken outside the United Kingdom. Drivers with 3 points or more or outside the conditions detailed above may incur an insurance surcharge which the winner will be liable to pay.
9. In the event of any damage to the California vehicle or third party property the winner will be liable to pay the first £900 excess, unless the optional collision waiver damage is taken. This reduces excess from £900 to £200 and is charged at £15 per day including 17.5% VAT. The winner is also liable for replacement or repair of windows or tyre damage and accidental/negligent damage to fittings and equipment of the California vehicle.
10. The prize must be taken between 1 June 2010 and 1 November 2010.
11. The draw will be made by an independent person five working days after draw closes and will be notified by RAC contacting them by email. If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winner or after 7 days of first contacting the winner, the Promoter will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it sees fit without any liability to the winner for having done so.
12. The Promoter’s decision regarding the results of the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into concerning the result of the draw.
13. Prize is subject to the winner signing and agreeing to all standard Campervantastic rental terms and conditions upon collection of the California. Please read these carefully here: http://www.campervantastic.com/faqs.php?faq=rental
14. Campervantastic will require a damages deposit (excess) of £900 when you collect your vehicle. Campervantastic will make a pre-authorisation on your credit/debit card for the value of £900 to cover any potential damage to the vehicle and/or equipment as outlined in our terms and conditions.
15. The California campervan should be returned with a full tank of fuel to avoid any additional refuelling charges.
16. A £25 handling fee may be charged for events such as Campervantastic having to administer repairs, refuelling and forwarding traffic and parking penalties.
17. Campervantastic employs the following cancellation policy:
    1. 4 weeks or less – Cancellation/No Show: 100% of total hire
    2. Curtailment 100% of total hire charge.

19. It is recommended that the winner considers taking out adequate holiday/travel insurance in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
20. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure the details they provide are accurate for the duration of the promotion.
21. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-transferable.
22. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the promoter reserves the right to change or substitute the prize with another offer of equal or greater value.
23. The California van will have a full tank of diesel on pick up, however no diesel or cash allowance will be provided for the remainder of the rental period.
24. Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Limited employees, Van Centres, agents or contractors, their family or friends, Volkswagen Brand Retailers and anyone else connected with the promotion (including employees of RAC and Seven Squared) are not eligible to enter the prize draw.
25. No responsibility is accepted for entries that are delayed or illegible when submitted electronically through the prize draw entry form. Entries not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible will be disqualified.
