End of Job and claiming JSA

Hi there,
Just wondering how this will pan out in the future...
I am currently working on a project which is expected to finish in a years time and then, if I fail to find another job before then, I will be unemployed.
Would I be able to apply for JSA as soon as this job finishes?
Or is it different becuase I KNEW that the job was going to end and therefore will there be a restriction of time before I can apply for JSA?
Thanks

You will be able to claim JSA as soon as your jobs finishes.
You could start finding a job before it ends though. When the job ends, you will go into the new one straight away.0 -

It will be ok to claim JSA, you will not have resigned or been sacked but just left after the job ended.0 -
Thanks guys.
I'll be applying long before the job ends in hope that I can get right into another job.
Cheers! The flip side of sanity is the game.0
