B&B Timesaver card, can I use it abroad

Hi, hope somebody can advise. I have a timesaver account with Bradford and Bingley, now Santander. I have rang customer service and and tried to get through to my local branch, however I was transferred around the world just to try and get in touch with my local branch, nobody was willing to put me through! I wanted to know if I could use my very old timesaver card abroad!! One person said I could but she seemed unsure what a timesaver card was..she just said you can use all cards abroad...is this true??

if it has a cirrus or link logo on the back, you can use it in any ATM with those symbols.

LINK is a UK only network, unfortunately.

It would need either a Cirrus or Plus logo to be used abroad.

As B&B is part of Santander, it may allow you access to their Spanish ATM network, but you'd need to check.

It's definitely worth checking in-branch first. It's no use waiting until you're abroad to find out you've a problem.

I was still right in what I said, although I accept regarding LINK not being in Europe.

Thanks for all your reply's. My card isn't a link or have Cirrus on the back,
I will check with my branch but struggle to speak to them direct via the rest of the world and with popping in as it is in the town centre...worth a trip though and I can moan about the call centres while I am there:j

    Thanks all:beer:

Can you use the card in any UK ATM? Or is it only in B&B/Santander ATMs?
