New Mobile Phone Policy @ Tesco Direct

New mobile phones policy for Tesco Direct which has its good and bad points.
After placing an order this morning i had my Tesco Direct order cancelled.
When i called to ask why i was told
"i had broke the Bulk buy policy on mobile phones"
when i told him this was my first order so i could have 5 in ten months
he told me a new policy has been introduced because people had abused the system by buying them and sending them straight to tescomobilerecycle.com to make profit and they had been hit hard so now a new policy has been introduced to give them time to plug any loop-holes.
When i said "cor wish i new that"
He Said its cost them over £395.000 in the last month alone so the new policy is one mobile phone, per customer, per WEEK. :rotfl:
Thats why i said it could be Good or Bad.
After getting off the phone i rang back twice and was quoted the phone policy by two different staff members.

Why would you want more than one mobile though, or am I missing the point?

A while ago, Tesco were doing 1000 bonus clubcard points of all phones, the cheapest being £14.99. So you effectively got points worth £40 of deals for a £15 phone. You could then sell the phone on eBay for £10-12 so it would cost you £3 for the points.
