Santander Zero - Exsisting customers balance transfer fee problem

Didnt want this to get lost in the other thread, but I am an A&L mortgage holder and have just transferred a balance to my Santander credit card.

Their website states that if you are an existing customer there is no charge for balance transfers, but whe I rang today there was a 3% charge.

The chap I spoke to said they had some problems with the paperwork and I would need to wait for the transfer to go through and then ring back to re-claim the fee.

Has nayone else experienced this. Hopefully it wont be a problem as I meet the criteria and I needed to transfer the balance this month anyway.
