hi just four weeks ago i bought a tv for my lorry as im away a lot,,it was very expensive but i saved for it,it was an Avtex wd tv/dvd combo an cost £299 which for a 10" screen is not cheap.. after four weeks my eight year old son dropped it in my cab onto a carpeted floor but no luck it would not turn on ..i paid 200 on my barclay debit card and 100 cash,,the shop sent it back but Avtex have just quoted me 170 to fix it or a new one for 200,,i do not have the money as i have 5 children is there anything i can do guys??? anything

I don't believe there is anything to do with credit card that you can do.
It was physical damage, accident, but never the less physical damage that is no fault of the equipment.
The only thing I can think of is whether your home contents are insured? To claim on house insurance?0 -

I was gonna go for guarantee until you mentioned that poppy. I guess insurance would be the best for this so far.0
