Free Starbucks coffee next weekend 12/13/14/15th march

Why not join us in your local Starbucks next weekend, 12th to 15th March 2010, for the Starbucks VIA Taste Challenge? We think Starbucks VIA tastes as good as our freshly filtered coffee. Dont take our word for it though; well be comparing Starbucks freshly filtered coffee against Starbucks VIA in your local store next weekend. Will you be able to tell the difference?

I got this through the post as well as via email (as I have Starbucks cards registered) and got free samples of the instant through the post (anyone else think VIA is a weird name for a coffee brand)! It actually tastes as good if not better than the real thing and no faffing around with the cafetiere for one cuppa!

I'll be in the vicinity on Monday anyway so will be popping in to see if I can get a free cuppa - not bad seeing as over the last 2 weeks it's been buy one get one free for fair trade fortnight! :D
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

I have just done the trial at my local one showing an invite which I got with a sample in the post as a cardholder. BEWARE. Tho everything I have seen on this _ ads in the Metro, Starbucks own cards, malings and leaflets etc state no purchase necessary to get the free coffee . My branch tried to insist that you had to buy a little trial pack of Via at £1.20 in order to get the free coffee..They gave me my free one in the end but I do suggest taking something with you that says it is totally free, no purchase required when trying to redeem if you are able.

PS the token they give you itself says no purchase required..

Given the confusion and the 'conditions', one wonders whether they really want to give away a free coffee or not. I can't be bothered to find out, going to make a cuppa tea instead. :money:
