We've teamed up with vets around the country to offer a free dental check up during Oral Care Month in March 2010. To find your nearest participating vet enter your home postcode below, then simply give them a call to book your free appointment.
Plus you can take home a free pack of Pedigree® Dentastix® after your dog's had his free dental check.

Terms and Conditions



1. Offer open to UK residents only.
2. Owners wanting to book a free dental check-up for their dog should visit www.freepedigreecheckups.com and review the list of UK veterinary clinics participating in the Oral Care Month activity. An owner should then call their nearest participating clinic and make an appointment, quoting Oral Care Month when confirming an appointment.
3. A free dog dental check-up appointment can be made at participating veterinary clinics between 1 March 2010 – 31 March 2010. A participating vet may offer a free dental check up after this period in the event that an owner has not been able to take advantage of the offer due to availability of appointments at the clinic.
4. Only one free dental check-up per dog.
5. Appointments shall be accepted at the sole discretion of the individual participating clinics and are subject to availability at the time of bookings being made.
6. The offer covers the cost of a free dental check-up only. A dog owner will be responsible for all costs relating to any dental and/or other treatment recommended as a result of the check-up. Any such treatment (and payment thereof) shall be in accordance with the veterinary clinic's normal terms of business.
7. An owner will also receive one free pack (7 sticks) of Pedigree® Dentastix® following their dog's free dental check-up, whilst stocks last in the clinic where the check-up took place.
8. Any travel or other costs associated with taking advantage of the offer shall be the responsibility of the individual dog owner.
9. A dog owner shall be responsible for any charges which a participating clinic seeks to pass on, in the event that the owner misses or cancels their appointment without sufficient notice.
10. Participating dog owners agree that they shall not hold the Promoter responsible in any way for any injury suffered by a dog during or as a result of a free dental check-up conducted by a participating clinic.
11. The offer of a free dental check-up is as stated and there is no cash alternative. Participating veterinary clinics are free to use whichever member of staff they choose, provided such staff are suitably qualified to conduct a dental health check on a dog.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this offer at any time with no liability to any consumer or any third party.
13. This offer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Just posting to let you know it seems you have to actually be registered with the practice offering the free check... don't know if that applies everywhere or just the one I called. We have now registered with them instead as they are closer anyway.
