Just popped into Allied Carpets in Weston Super Mare as I saw a sign they did furniture.
I was so surprised to see really funky stuff in white high gloss, black, crome etc like you would get from Heals EDIT - it is Heals furniture!! or a designer shop along with a wooden range - more traditional. This was dining tables, coffee tables, chairs, funky shelves/bookcases etc. They were half price. It wasnt cheap cheap but for a designer look I thought it was well priced.
Sofas, footstools also reduced along with rugs. (rugs upto 75% off)
Got 2 lovely leather swivel arm chairs.
He said these were the 3 stores doing furniture and weston had the largest range.

I phoned them back and they said its made by Actona in Denmark, this is the range, they had the marble type stuff too and office furniture.0 -
Sorry, nice stuff but I don't class £190 for a 6X4 rug as a bargain or cheap.
But thanks for posting it anyway.The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0 -
Thanks Claire, what sort of price were the armchairs?? I'm on the look at for one.
THanks

The leather ones we got - reservered when we got home to pick up tomorrow, so i think they were £235 each but look really expensive, we got light tan but 2 chocolate brown left at weston, you just sank into them. They have chrome basis like these;

PS to the poster above - the Rugs are not Heals rugs or prices, they were massively reduced, really big ones £750
