Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo for foreign currency?

Hi,
I've been told that using my Airmiles Mastercard will end up being cheaper for me to use in Austria than getting currency exchanged.
I'm travelling with my school and all of the meals are covered. In theory I shouldn't need to spend much at all, just a small amount at services when travelling across etc.
Would you agree that using my card is the best way to go?
Cheers!
