Should Tax be paid on Ebay Sales?

Hi All
I have just started selling on Ebay and am mindful that perhaps any profits should be declared for tax purposes.
I am sure not all Ebay users submit tax details, so where is the line drawn before tax is paid?
I am sure Ebay is fairly well scrutinsed by our friends at HMRC too!
Any advice would be great - Thank You

If you buy to sell you have to declare it to the HMRC as you are a business. If your just selling personal items you do not have to0

The above is correct, but you should get advice from HMRC and/or an accountant for your own purposes. HMRC advice is free and you can get free initial consultation from some accountants too..0

That's great - many thanks for the comments0
