We had a problem transaction related to our wedding last october which after 3 months of trying to pursue with the company we decided to seek help from our credit card company (In this case nationwide). The original payment was made in May 2009 but the wedding and the failure of the company to fulfil their contract was on October 2009
We sent all of out details to nationwide about 2 weeks ago and have just had a letter back saying its been to long and they can't help.
Does it work this way, is there a time limit on the credit card company being responsible?

My husband ordered a bespoke leather motorbike suit.
The company have been tardy but we have been patient.
Does being patient mean you lose protection or is this a fob off?
If there is a time limit then what is it please.
For bespoke items then it can take time to source materials.0
