Argos do the Samsung 15.6(widescreen) R519 T4400(NOT T4300)for £399.99 508/2432
You also get 508/2975 FREE if you add it to yout basket. The item is a Samsung branded laptop case (carry and shoulder strap, with internal pockets-some you can remove) and Samsung branded mouse(3 button, scroll wheel, optical, wired, funky pattern and high gloss to match laptop outer case) the RRP for this item is £39.99
You get FREE 3-Year Pre-Registered AVG Internet Security. If you do not want this it could be sold on, the card is on the outside of the box along with a specified link to download from, so there is nothing stopping you selling it on, the RRP is £99.98 as 2yrs is £59.99 and 1yr is £39.99 (Sure people are divided here but my friend insists on windows 7 you only really need anti virus, free AVG version is fine, and not the firewall, so you could sell on)
You additionaly get FREE 3-Year Collect & return Pre-Registered Warranty, direct from Samsung not Argos. Argos do it for £174.99 as a guide. You need to register this, so do not lose receipt like I seem to have!
1.5% CASHBACK VIA QUIDCO, DELIVERY CHARGE ONLY
The freebies of laptop case and mouse/avg/samsung warranty add to £314.96. If you were going to buy security/warranty and a case/mouse you could say you are paying just £85.03 for the laptop.

Graphics are intergrated and resolution(1366 x 768 pixels) not very high for a new laptop, so would not be great for a gamer particularly? But great for everday use for most people.
Intel Pentium dual core T4400 processor 2.2GHz(Argos say T4300/2.GHz but advert incorrect), which is good for this price range as you are mostly going to get a AMD/Celeron.
Windows 7 Premium operating system installed(32 bit not 64 bit). Trial of MS Office, no Works either, but you can download the beta version of Office 2010 for free.
Has 4GB DDR2 RAM/250GB SATA multi format dual layer hard drive/Multi card reader/3 USB ports/0.3MP webcam/802.11 b/g/n wireless enabled and is 2.6kg.
Set up is pretty easy, no instruction/operating info included, but mainly straight forward. The only main issue was it asks you to partition the drive, which may stump some people. It asks you to do this as Samsung has built an auto recovery solution into the laptop.
I'm not sure this is a bargain or grabbit(was not sure where else to post this!) for everyones needs, but if like me you wanted to set budget for £400, you could certainly do a lot worse for the money. I am really happy with my purchase and feel I have got fantastic VALUE for my money. It suits my basic needs and is nice and SHINY :rotfl:

bought this a couple of weeks ago, after it was posted on HUKD.
I can confirm that this is a great everyday use laptop.
Only criticism is that it doesn't have any type of word processor pre-installed etc. I have always had MS Works pre-installed on every other PC I have ever bought, but this one has nothing. Easy solved though - a quick download of OpenOffice (which is FOC!), and I've got more than I'll ever need, (WP/Excel equivalent/PowerPoint equivalent etc..) and it's all compatible with MS products anyway.

I joined this forum, purposly for this thread.
I bought the same laptop in May, I also bought it thinking the 3 year warranty is offered automatically. None of the papers which came with the laptop said it has to be registered.
I called samsung and they no nothing of it, i called argos informed them of there false advertisment, and 7months after purchase I have been given a refund in gift vouchers.
They will also offer you the argos breakdown cover if you wish to keep the laptop.0
