Does anyone have the "Love Your Body™" card Is it worth getting?

I think its worth it, but not for the 10% discount alone as often there are codes available which give a much better discount online. They sometimes do a 30% off weekend for LYB members which is great, and if you buy the card then it only costs £3.50:)

I rarely go instore anymore so can't comment on the free gifts, although i may try and round up all my online order receipts and see if they'll stamp my card instore. Its gotta be worth a try.

Did they cancel your first two orders? I hope not! I'm thinking of making a second one myself. :)

I've placed a few orders now using the code no problems skibster. This seems to be a recurring problem with BS for some peeps, whereby it stops you placing more than one order in a certain period of time. Once it does that the only way to order again is to ring them up and have them unblock your account. It hasn't happened to me personally, but was a common problem on the thread before xmas and appears to be random.

Thank you! I bought the Ginger shampoo and Honey conditioner; had been wanting to try them after the rave review I read in Beauty Scribbler. Normally 5.50 each, I got both for 6 quid in the 250ml size. :)

Thanks for that link, i think i'll try the ginger shampoo myself after reading that as the author had the same negative experience with the honey shampoo that i did (although the honey conditioner was great).

Does anyone know how long the "Anitas Favourites" will be stocked for? I love the banana shampoo and conditioner, and can't really justify stocking up on it at the moment but i dread it no longer being available:(

    Part of the Furniture
Somewhat off topic but does anyone know how long B'shop usually takes to pay out via Quidco? Still awaiting things from beginning of Dec '09 which are only just validated.

I have just received my order containing
Vit E facial wash, Vit E facial oil and Vit E tinted moisturiser.

What is the best way to use the facial oil?
Do i put it on and leave it or wash it off?
Can it be used in conjunction with the tinted moisturiser, so apply the oil and then the moisturiser over the top

    Thanks

I've only been using it for a few weeks but i am really liking the oil. I apply it after cleansing my face, and once it has absorbs in I apply my moisturiser. When i first put it on my face i thought I was going to hate it as my face seemed quite oily and shiny but after about a minute it completely absorbs in and leaves my skin feeling lovely. I use the vitamin e illuminating moisturiser afterwards, but i noticed one of the product reviews on the site uses the tinted moisturiser afterwards so can't see any problems with that.

  • Huge thanks to the OP - just ordered 3 x 200ml cocoa butter body butters ( Should be £12.50 each but 3 for 2 makes them £25 ... which qualified the order for a free pink grapefruit 200ml body butter ... minus the £5 code of course = 4 x large body butters delivered for £20 (the price of 4 x small body butters) :)
Should last me for a while ... hmmmm ... wonder whether I will like smelling of pink grapefruits!
  • they cancelled my third order when i did three in one day but i just put it through again the next day, i have received all three now!
    Thanks to all competition posters!
  • Medical advice shouldn't be given on any part of the forum, if i'm correct. Are you a dermatologist? I just don't think you should be advising people. People who have these problems, would know and sort this out.

Err... you seem to have misunderstood my post. You said that parabens are fine because Lush use them and that the OP was "scaring people" when they pointed out that the BS use parabens. I pointed out that people may have been advised by a medically trained dermatologist to avoid these and other ingredients.

If you read my posts you'll see that I do not claim to be a dermatologist and have not given any medical advice on the forum. In fact I gave no advice at all, just some information. Personally I don't find it useful for people to put blanket statements of "do this" or "don't do that" on forums so I don't do it myself, and I give background on my own opinions.

    All the best,
  • How do you get the stamps f you shop online please.
