I have been looking at the council tax rebanding and I am currently on Band C (as are my neighbours) but in 1991 the calculator on this site shows the house was worth £35000 which puts it at Band A! Would I have a case? I know it's hard to say but I'm a little confused on this subject.

Thanks :D

What figure and what date did you use to calculate value. £35K seems very low for a property in Essex in 1991 unless it was a 1 bed ex Council tower block flat on sink estate. Calculators are inaccurate, but not usually by 50%. Have a look at bands of similar size/type houses in area.
