Virgin raising prices by £2.50 for EVERYONE in next couple of months

Just called virgin media to get my annual cancellation deal - but was informed that they have to let me know now that prices are rising by £2.50 for EVERYONE.

So everyone on a contract will have the option to cancel said contract with no penelty at that point.

Just so you all know...

Just told on another forum:

"A rise of £1 for "L" TV and £1.50 for XL TV. and £1 L broadband"

I received an email with my account number etc on it. My bill is going up up by £1.50 for the XL TV.

The email gave my list

TV XL
BB L
P M

But when I followd a link on the email it said BB L no change, Telephone no change.

When Virgin rates go up, Sky ones will follow.

Im still waiting for an email. They arent budging on charges if you call. Its cancel or dont as they know sky is more expensive

Read this thread, I have cancelled all my services using the letter in this thread and I never even sent it recorded delivery.
