New Bie - Wanted Second Credit Card?

I am having a Natwest Credit Card with a limit of £1500 issued to me in Nov'2009. I am looking to have another credit card. Is capitalone CC is good for me? My main consideration is good credit limit. I use the card and pay off end of the month, so high interest is no problem.

Credit limit offered is mainly based on the amount you earn and the credit history you already have from my own experience. Ie my first card with NatWest at the time was £400, my second card was £1900 and 2 years later my third card was £4900.

Is the NatWest your first credit card? If so I would possibly wait a bit longer before applying for another card.

I don't think subprime credit cards give huge amount of credit. But that is only from what I saw around, I never applied for subprime credit card myself.

I'd wait. You aren't likely to get a decent line of credit with such a new account on your credit file, and once you've had it open Natwest should increase your limit anyway (12 months - this November).

If you are impatient and open a new credit card account before this one is 12 months old you may be declined, given a low limit, or a high interest rate.

Do you have any other credit cards beside this one? Why do you need a large line of credit?
