I sold an item Saturday, sent an invoice soon after, and have sent a polite reminder today, but have had no response from the buyer whatsoever, so am i right in thinking i can open a NPB today if i hear nothing from the buyer today.
Thankyou Sir Alex for 26 years

I'd personally wait around a week... someone who bought an item from me on 1st Feb only paid this morning!
I know its annoying!0 -

If the buyer doesn't contact you then yes I would open a NPB dispute, if you hear nothing in another 4 days, close the dispute to reclaim you FVFs.

If they had sent a message saying it would be a few days before payment, fine, but no contact at all, i think i will open a dispute, if they had messaged me to say they had made a mistake, or wished to change their mind fine, i could have cancelled the sale, but no contact at all is a little bit annoying.Thankyou Sir Alex for 26 years0 -

Then yes I would say open a NPB dispute, remember to close it on day 4 to reclaim FVFs and give the bidder a NPB strike which will reduce the amount of items then can buy on ebay in future (if they have done this before) and protect other sellers from someone who doenst pay for items won.

Thanks for this too. I have had the same problem as you so you saved me starting a new thread.
It's very annoying when they don't even bother to contact you!Total Debts: £1,500
Total Cashback Received: £3,965.21:beer:0 -
E mailed the buyer wed morning, had a reply stating that their card had expired and the new card would take a few days to come through, but nothing since, so its now day 9 and no payment, would anyone wait any longer? or would you open a NPB now?Thankyou Sir Alex for 26 years0

In my experience you get a new card before the old one expires. I think you have waited long enough and need to open a NPB straight away.0
