Fair to tile utility room?

I have a large utility room, with a flat concrete floor that I need tiled.

I was astonished to be quoted £640 (including grout and adhesive) to tile it. I supply the ceramic tiles.

It's 15 Sq m of floor tiles and 1.5 Sq m wall tiles around a sink. We're in SE London/Kent borders.

Is this fair and I'm just not up to date with how much this stuff costs or did he think "sucker" and double the price!

Absolute max £ 500 IMHO on site unseen basis.

Thanks both - After some further research, I think it's a little steep. I think I was naively expecting a figure half that price too.

I'm now looking into the DIY options......:eek:
