Can I have more than 1 income protection policy?

Hi,

I have an income protection policy covering me for accident sickness and unemployment. This will pay me 65% of my salary.

Am I able to take out a further policy with a different company that will cover me for the remaining 35%. Is that legal?

Thanks

You can take out more but they wont pay out. The limit is not set by the provider but a regulatory one.
