Hi,

It really angers me when companies, such as Usenext, exploit their users for money, such as that I have become a victim of.

Basically, I signed up to Usenext under their free-trial. Which I stopped using after 4 days.. and haven't logged in since, to only log into PayPal today and notice that I have £0 remaining with all the money withdrawn from it and an additional £61.51 GBP out of my bank account.. (-€95.35 EUR )

I've contacted them directly, with a host of non-relevant query-type boxes to tick. This is what a notice read upon submitting the request:
"Many thanks, your question was transmitted. Currently there are 482 inquiries on the wait list. You will receive your answer in about 32 hours."

I had not received ANY notification from Usenext themselves, they just helped themselves... What should I do?

Update:
Upon prowling the Internet to try to find other cases in which this has happened, I found this post on a Spanish forum, titled 'UseNeXTquiere cobrarme 80€ sin mi consentimiento."or simply "UseNeXTquiere charge me 80 € without my consent." [I can't seem to post links as I'm a "new member"]

It seems to be a populated problem...

just because you stop using doesnt stop the trial, you have to cancel the account
  • Isn't Usenext that carp for downloading Warez?
  • Yes it is - so leeching free downloads is ok but paying for them is not!

If you did not cancel before the end of the free trial you have to pay.

Fools and their money are easily parted.

If you sign up for what is a dodgy service in the main what do you expect? I'm sure the company know most people won't run to their banks/police/trading standards once they realise they'll need to describe the service you paid for.
