Help, small coffee stain on a shawl I've just spent ages making

I've searched several posts on this board, and haven't found an answer.
I've just finished making a large white shawl for a baby that's due next week. When I was packing it, I noticed a small coffee stain less than 1cm square.
It's made out of nylon, and I don't want to wash the whole thing, as it never quite looks the same after it's washed.I've tried spraying the patch with a bio detergent solution and blotting it, but that didn't work.
Can anybody suggest anything else I can try?

baby wipes? try those - some are very good at taking stains out.
jazzy - why doesnt it look the same after washing? it should, nylon yarns should retain their shape. what did the ball band say? low temp wash? then dry flat and shape? difficult if its a large shawl - they do go out of shape on the line.
I used to spread shawls or garments (which said to dry flat) out on a spare sheet on spare bedroom floor and leave for a day or two. difficult though if you havent got space! otherwise, it went in tumble dryer on cool and i steam pressed under a cloth until it went back to shape.

Just an update. The baby wipes didn't work, but a friend suggested shaving foam on the stain, then blotted with a damp cloth when it was lying on a towel.. It's worked a treat, much to my surprise.

Thanks for that tip, JazzyB - always very useful to know . I often make shawls to order and I dread that ever happening to me.
