Hi Everyone,

I have just applied online for the Amex rewards card. Does anybody have an idea of the limits they give? I know tou cant be sure but are the generly low or high??

    When I got my BA Amex card, starting credit limit was £6,100 - after a few years it has gone up to £15,500

    I recently got an Amex rewards card and got a pretty low £2.4k limit, half of what they gave me on an Amex Plat cashback which I closed in October '09.

    I can understand it though because I've since taken on a loan and have more of an overdraft available to me.

    TBH I only got the rewards card to get the introductory freebie vouchers so the limit isn't particularly important to me!
