Savings account that I dont want any access to

I want to set up an account in my name for my daughter. The money will be for either uni, wedding or her first car. I want to put away £5-£10 every month into an account which is safe & that I don't want any access to until she is 18 years old. I don't mind doing something fixed for 5 years....& then moving the money around.

My mum did a similar thing for me it was an 'insurance' that she took out with the co operative but nothing similar seems to exist now....not that I can see.

Any advice would be greatly received.
